This is our best quality version of an electromagnet.
It comprises of a thick soft iron core with 600 turns of an insulated copper wire wound on it.
It operates on 12Volts DC.
It is very powerful and has a higher lifting power.
Students can clearly comprehend how the increased windings of a wire help to concentrate the magnetic field and also how the strength of the magnetic field generated is proportional to the amount of current through the winding.
