DISCHARGER (LENGTH=20CM)
- A discharger is a device that releases electric charge from another source. Dischargers are used for discharging Van de Graff generators, Leyden jars, etc., while avoiding the risk of contact with highly charged objects.
- The apparatus comprises of two plated metal curved arms hinged and fitted to an ebonite insulating handle, with a screw and a spring washer, which permit the arms to be adjusted into the required position.
- Both the arms terminate in small plated brass spheres.
- Overall length=20 cm approximately.
