PERSPEX FRICTION ROD

Length =30 cm approximately.
Diameter =13mm.
They are useful for physics experiments in electrostatics and for charging electroscopes.
Students can appreciate how the rod gets positively charged when rubbed against silk.
Further on placing one charged rod next to another charged rod, one can demonstrate electrostatic repulsion (of similarly charged rods) or electrostatic attraction (in the case of oppositely charged rods).
